National Anaesthesia Day 2012

National Anaesthesia Day 2012 is just around the corner. The Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists (MSA); the College of Anaesthesiologists, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia; and the Department of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care, Hospital Kuala Lumpur have jointly organised this celebration on the 13th October 2012 in Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

Day Care Surgery is chosen as the theme. The motto is "Surgery In A Day, What Do You Have To Say?” This year’s celebration envisaged a uniform performance of Day Care Surgery as a national event on 13th October 2012, Saturday, in participating hospitals in the country. In Hospital Kuala Lumpur, we feature 2 concurrent activities.

1. Day Care Anaesthesia

We will be running Day Care lists on Saturday, 13th October 2012. The Guest of Honour will visit the participating patients in the ward as well as the operation theatre before proceeding to the exhibition hall in the main foyer followed by field activities.

2. Telematch In Padang Kelab Sukan, Hospital Kuala Lumpur

There will be exciting telematch games for participants from all walks of life – so please bring along your family and kids along for a fun-filled time in the field!!

1. There will be 15 games :- 6 adults, 6 children and 3 family-oriented games. Those who are

interested need to register in the morning to participate. Participants will be divided into

4 teams consisting 10 members in each team. Attractive prizes awaits you!

2. "TEKA JUMLAH BOTOL ESMERON". Participation is free and only limited to ONE entry

per person. A gift worth RM 1000 awaits you. The winning person MUST BE PRESENT

during the prize-giving activities.

Blood donation activities

CPR demonstration activities

Those who attend these activities will be given a free collared T-shirt. We are also selling non-collared T-shirt for your family - price to be announced later.
